Sayed Aasa has a big family, 9 members who lived in Mazar for more than 30 years, recently he could not afford to have enough income for the family while he is getting old.
His sons were young willing to work as a labor but they could not find a regular work and some days they got daily jobs and sometimes not, even while they were working the income was not enough for all these 9 members.
Then Sayed Aasa decided to move to Charkent district, himself is from Abkhana village he said: as I heard from villagers that their life is developing and they even can save some money but unfortunately I could not afford to feed the family unless to pay for the water, electricity and the rent of the house.
That is why he preferred being in Charkent, nowadays he is living in a house without rent, which the Qariadar provide him also he will not pay for the electricity, water and even bread.
In the start the villagers supported him a lot and now his oldest son who is in the picture behind him are working part time for digging the top of mountain for planting pistachio trees and instead he received 2 pocket flour, oil, pea, salt enough for 1 month.
His work is part time and half a day daily he is working for WFP project who is planting pistachio trees and the other half of the day he is going to the mountain to bring bush enough for the family during the winter and even for selling.
According to Sayed Aasa the life in the village is much easier than the life in the city, he said: I am now regretful why I faced with a lot of problems in the city and even tolerate the hunger of the children. why I did not decide to come earlier to Charkent.
